Jaewon Lee

Jaewon Lee, Ph.D., is a technical leader in plug etch at SK Hynix, where he works on improving the productivity of etch equipment and analyzing the high aspect ratio contact (HARC) etching process. Prior to joining SK hynix, he was an associate research professor at Hanyang University, where he conducts research on plasma diagnosis and HARC etching. He joined Samsung Electronics as a staff engineer, where he worked on the design and optimization of advanced plasma etching processes for 3D NAND flash memory fabrication.

He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Hanyang University. His doctoral dissertation focused on the development of a plasma source for plasma processing and electrical diagnosis.
