Yongpil Lee

Yongpil Lee, Ph.D. currently serves as the Head of the Regional Information Security Division at the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). 

Since joining KISA in 2003, Dr. Lee has held pivotal leadership roles, including serving as the Head of the Security Talent Division and the Head of the Convergence Security Division. With over two decades of experience, he is recognized as a comprehensive authority who bridges the gap between strategic security policies and practical technological applications.  

A native of Seoul, Dr. Lee earned a B.A. in Economics, followed by both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Seoul National University. His contributions to national information security were officially recognized when he was honored with a Presidential Commendation (2018).
