Justin Kocher

Justin Kocher, M.A., Senior Director, International Business Development, has worked at JobsOhio for 8 years. He is responsible for international business attraction to Ohio. In this capacity, he leads efforts to attract foreign direct investment and foster global partnerships that strengthen Ohio’s economy. 

Prior to joining JobsOhio, Kocher held positions with the U.S. Department of Commerce as an International Trade Specialist and at international multilateral development banks in Washington, D.C. In these roles, he has assisted both U.S. and international companies successfully establish operations in new markets.  
 
Prior to that, Justin Kocher developed significant experience as a Management Consultant. While working for Broderick Haight Consulting, Justin successfully led a team to win a US Government project to diversify value chains in Southeast Asia.  

Kocher received a Master of Arts of Law and Diplomacy degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, where he specialized in International Trade and Investment. During this time, he also completed his “Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP)” credential, to assist companies with their internationalization efforts.
