Julie Kim
Country Director, Korea Office, Indiana Economic Development Corporation
Julie Kim has been served as the Korea Director for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), leading Indiana’s business development, governmental engagement, and strategic partnerships in the Korean market since 2025. In this role, she has focused on supporting Indiana’s investment promotion efforts, managing relationships with Korean corporations, and advancing bilateral economic collaboration across key industries.
Prior to representing the State of Indiana, Julie Kim held senior positions supporting APAC-focused government and business initiatives, contributing to cross-border project development and international stakeholder relations for multiple American State offices including Arizona and Virginia. She has worked extensively with both public and private-sector partners, delivering market insights, coordinating missions, and supporting expansion strategies for U.S. state governments in Asia.
Kim holds degrees in Communication Studies field from the University of Missouri in the US and continues to deepen her expertise in international business development and government relations. She is fluent in English and Korean and works seamlessly across multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments.
