MPDU (Modular Power Delivery Unit) – Intel System Level Test Platform Power Delivery Solution tailored for Manufacturing Test Environment

2:20 pm - 2:50 pm

System Level Test has been increasingly indispensable in the manufacturing test flow due to the rise in product complexity and heterogeneous integration of chiplets aided by progress in advanced packaging technologies. Supporting diverse product segments and various platform architectures, in manufacturing test environment in a cost effective and efficient manner, have progressively become a challenge and inevitably power supply solutions are also part of the problems to be addressed. MPDU is an attempt to provide a generic power supply unit tailored for manufacturing test environment which is scalable across platforms SLT tester modules via its modular concept. This paper discusses the features and capabilities of MPDU and the advantages that it delivers for SLT in particular and its successful deployment in Intel factories.
