Amol Gupta

Mr. Amol Gupta has been Sr. Global Product Manager at Applied Materials since 2018 with responsibility to develop and manage new growth products for advanced logic nodes.

Prior to joining Applied Materials, Gupta held engineering roles at Samsung Austin Semiconductor and at IBM. During his 3 years as staff engineer at IBM, Gupta spent time developing lithography processes for critical BEOL layers at the 22nm node and successfully transferred high-yielding processes to manufacturing. During his 3 years as equipment engineer at Samsung, Gupta owned various lithography track equipment and delivered high quality, high output and low-cost tools and processes.

Gupta received a master’s degree in Materials science and engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India.
