Kevin Song

Kevin Song is Director of Marketing for the CMP business unit of Applied Materials Inc., USA. He is responsible for a variety of marketing roles within the business units such as strategic planning, market research, consumables alliances and portfolio positioning.

Prior to joining Applied Materials, he worked as a CMP process engineer, thin-film module manager and technical marketing manager for fabs and CMP consumables suppliers. He also worked for a Korean CMP equipment supplier in the past.

He holds a PhD and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, W. Lafayette, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
