The SEMI Standards Program brings together industry experts to exchange ideas and work towards developing globally accepted technical standards.

It established in 1973, has grown from a group in the U.S. that developed the first silicon wafer specification. Through last 38 years activities, it has been supporting to develop over 8020 standards which cover a wide variety of technical topics such as semiconductor, FPD, PV, and MEMS globally.
