Simultaneous interpretation will NOT be provided.
Although
many analog circuits are replaced by digital circuits according to IC
technology scaling, data converters are still the essential circuit
components in various applications. However, reduced supply voltage and
intrinsic gain make it hard to design high-precision data converters.
The demand of higher bandwidth in modern communication systems also
extends the speed of data converters to the limits of IC technology.
Moreover, as integration level of portable electronic systems is
increasing, the speed, resolution, and power dissipation of data
converters become major issues. This Forum is focused on presenting
recent trends and the newest techniques to implement high performance
and low power data converters.
